Step 1 (Evaluation)
To pass Step 1, you must:
- Achieve a 10% profit target.
- Complete at least 3 profitable days.
- Follow all trading rules and loss limits. After passing Step 1, your entire evaluation is reviewed. If successful, you become a Funded GOAT Trader.
Step 2 (Funded)
- Complete at least 3 profitable days each with a minimum of 0.5% to be eligible for a Payout (Resets after each payout)
- Follow all trading rules and loss limits including goat guard (What Is Goat Guard).
Exception: For accounts purchased on or after July 27th, 2026, the Funded stage requires 4 profitable days, each with a minimum of 0.5% profit to be eligible for a payout, instead of the standard 3-day requirement.
What Is A Minimum Profitable Day?
- A minimum profitable day is a day on which you close at least one position and your profit for that day is at least 0.5% of the initial account balance, net of fees and commissions.
Account Violations (Hard Breach)
Violation of these rules results in immediate account closure.
1. Daily Drawdown Limit 4%
How is it calculated?
- At 5:00 PM EST, we check the higher value between the Account Balance or Account Equity.
- Subtract 4% of that value from that value to set the Daily Drawdown Threshold for the next trading day.
Note: For 1-Step accounts purchased from August 1st, 2026 onward, the Daily Drawdown Limit is 3% instead of 4%. The calculation method is the same — just apply 3% instead of 4% when working out the threshold.
2. Maximum Loss Limit (Hard Breach) — 6% (Static)
This is your Absolute Floor. Your account equity or balance must never drop below 94% of your starting capital.
How is it calculated?
Maximum Loss = Initial Account Size − 6%
Rewards & Profit Split

Profit Split: 80% (Traders keep 80% of their profit).
Payout Cycle: Bi-weekly (Every 14 days).
Daily Profit Cap: Funded accounts have a $3,000 daily profit limit.
*Note: Profits exceeding this are deducted but do NOT result in an account breach.
