How are trading days calculated?

Updated over 2 months ago

Trading days are calculated based on 5 PM EST.

A trading day runs from 5:00:01 PM (today) to 4:59:59 PM (the next day).

For example:

Any trade opened or closed after 5 PM EST today counts toward today’s trading day.

Trades opened or closed after 5 PM EST tomorrow will count as part of the next trading day.

This timing aligns with the global forex market session rollover, ensuring consistency across all trader accounts.
