What are the Minimum trading days?

This FAQ explains what Minimum Trading Days means at Goat Funded Trader—how many days you must trade to meet your model’s requirements, and which models follow different trading-day rules.

Minimum Trading Days by Model

To count as a Valid Trading Day, the trader must generate a minimum profit of 0.5% of the initial account balance.

Evaluation models (funded stage, per payout)

- 1 Step: 3 days, or 4 days for accounts purchased from 27 July 2026

- 2-Step Standard: 3 days, or 4 days for accounts purchased from 25 July 2026

- 2 Step GOAT: 3 days, or 4 days for accounts purchased from 25 July 2026

- 2-Step PRO: 3 days

- 3 Step: no requirement during the evaluation phases. In the funded stage, 3 days, or 4 days for accounts purchased from 27 July 2026

- Pay Later: no requirement during evaluation, 3 days once funded

- GOAT Blitz: 5 days in evaluation, and 5 days per payout

Instant funding models

- Instant GOAT: 5 days

- Instant PRO: 5 days

- Instant Premium: 5 days

- Instant HERO: 6 days

- Goat 1$: 3 days

Your trading day count resets after each payout. A new trading day starts at 5 PM EST.

Example:
Initial balance = $100,000
0.5% minimum = $500
So the trading day counts as “valid” only if the trader makes at least +$500 during that trading day.

Models requiring Trading Days without the 0.5% valid-day rule

  • Instant Standard Model: 7 Trading Days

  • 3 Step Model: No trading day requirement during Evaluation Phase

Additional: A new trading days reset at 5 PM EST.
