What are the Minimum Profitable Days?

This FAQ explains what Minimum Profitable Days means at Goat Funded Trader: how many profitable days each model requires, and which models follow different rules.

Minimum Profitable Days by Model

To count as a Minimum Profitable Day, the trader must generate a minimum profit of 0.5% of the initial account balance, net of fees and commissions.

​Evaluation models (funded stage, per payout)

- 1 Step: 3 days, or 4 days for accounts purchased from 27 July 2026
​

- 2-Step Standard: 3 days, or 4 days for accounts purchased from 25 July 2026
​

- 2 Step GOAT: 3 days, or 4 days for accounts purchased from 25 July 2026
​

- 2-Step PRO: 3 days

- 3 Step: no requirement during the evaluation phases. In the funded stage, 3 days, or 4 days for accounts purchased from 27 July 2026
​

- Pay Later: no requirement during evaluation. Once funded, 3 days, or 5 days per payout for accounts purchased from 5 September 2026
​

- GOAT Blitz: 5 days in evaluation, and 5 days per payout

Instant funding models

- Instant GOAT: 5 days

- Instant PRO: 5 days

- Instant Premium: 5 days

- Instant HERO: 6 days

- Goat 1$: 3 days

Your profitable day count resets after each payout. A new trading day starts at 5 PM EST.

Example:Initial balance = $100,0000.5% minimum = $500So the day counts as a minimum profitable day only if the trader makes at least +$500 during that trading day.


Models requiring Trading Days without the 0.5% valid-day rule

(No minimum profit is required for a day to count toward the 7 trading days).

  • Instant Standard Model: 7 Trading Days


Models with no trading day requirement

  • 3 Step Model: No trading day requirement during Evaluation Phase

Additional: A new trading days reset at 5 PM EST.
