When will I receive my credentials?

When you purchase, your credentials arrive by email immediately and also appear in your dashboard.

When you pass a phase, your next account is created automatically. You do not need to request it. Passing an intermediate phase (for example Phase 1 on a 2-step model) issues your next credentials immediately. After your final evaluation phase, your account goes through a review that typically takes up to 2 business days; you receive a confirmation email while it runs, then your funded account credentials arrive by email and appear in your dashboard.

You do not need to complete identity verification (KYC) or sign the Trader Agreement to receive credentials. Both happen later, when you request your first payout.

What happens when you pass an evaluation phase

  1. Your account stops trading at the moment you hit the target.
  2. Your evaluation is reviewed, typically up to 2 business days. You receive a confirmation email during this time.
  3. Your next account is created.
  4. Credentials are emailed to the address on your account, and appear in your dashboard.

On multi-phase models you move to the next phase automatically. On 2 Step and 3 Step models, passing an intermediate phase moves you straight on with no review.

Only the final evaluation phase triggers the full review before funding.

ModelWhat happens after each pass

3 StepPass Step 1, straight to Step 2. Pass Step 2, straight to Step 3. Pass Step 3, full review, then funded
GOAT BLITZPass Step 1, full review, then funded
Pay LaterPass Step 1, pay the remaining fee, then funded
All Instant modelsNo evaluation. Funded immediately on purchase

Pay Later is different

On the Pay Later model you pay $5 up front and the balance only after passing. Your funded account is not issued until the remaining fee is paid.

How much will I pay after passing?

Where to find your credentials

  1. Your dashboard.Log in and open the account. This is the fastest route and does not depend on email delivery.
  2. Your email, sent to the address registered on your account.

If the email has not arrived, check spam first, then check the dashboard. The dashboard is authoritative. If credentials are visible there, the account exists and is ready, regardless of what your inbox shows.

Common questions

I passed but I have not received anything. Check your dashboard first. If the account is there, you can start trading immediately using those credentials. If it is not there after 2 business days, contact support with your account number.

Do I need to request my next phase account? No. It is created automatically.

My credentials do not work. Confirm you are using the right platform (MT5, Match-Trader, and so on) and the right server for that account. Each account has its own server, and using a previous account's server is the most common cause.

Can I keep trading my evaluation account after passing? No. It stops at the moment you pass.

What is a Goat Funded Trader simulated funded account?

Upon successfully passing the evaluations and receiving their certificate, contractors will be granted new credentials to access a simulated Funded Account (Simulation) that is funded with virtual funds. It's essential to note that this simulated Funded account is entirely simulated and mimics real market data and clearing from liquidity providers. The trading data is managed and sent to a partnered proprietary trading firm based on strategies that are managed within our risk management team. The trading firm copies trades at their own discretion, utilizing proprietary risk management techniques and aggregated orders. We never issue real funds, and members are paying a fee for an educational trading evaluation with an opportunity for their strategies to be copied and receive compensation as an independent contractor. It's important to clarify that we are not a broker.

What happens if I fail my challenge or funded account?

If you fail your challenge or funded account at any stage, that account will be closed and can no longer be used. However, you don't need to start over from scratch — you can purchase a Reset to continue from the phase where the breach occurred, preserving any phases you've already passed.

If you breach Phase 1 → your Reset restarts from Phase 1.

If you breach Phase 2 (after passing Phase 1) → your Reset restarts from Phase 2.

If you breach a Funded Account → your Reset issues a brand-new Funded Account, without repeating the evaluation.

Resets must be purchased within 14 calendar days of the breach, and each phase can only be reset once. If you don't purchase a Reset within that window, or if you breach the same phase again after using its Reset, you'll need to purchase a new Challenge to continue.

Note: Resets are only available for accounts purchased from June 15th, 2026 onward — accounts purchased before that date are not eligible for a reset and will need to start a new Challenge if breached.

For full details on pricing, timing, and how many Resets you can use, see the How do Resets work? FAQ.
