Goat Funded Trader's Reset feature gives you a second chance after breaching your account. Instead of purchasing a brand-new Challenge and starting your journey from the beginning, you can purchase a Reset and continue from the phase where the breach occurred.
This means that if you've already passed one or more phases, your progress is preserved—you only need to repeat the phase you breached.
Note: Resets are only available for accounts purchases made from June 15th onward — accounts purchased before that date are not eligible for a reset. Additionally, Account Resets are not available for Pay Later models or Goat Stride models.
What happens when I purchase a Reset?
Once your Reset purchase is completed, a brand-new account will be issued. Your previous account is not restored or modified and cannot be used anymore.
Your new account will:
Start with the same initial balance as your original purchase.
Have the same Challenge type and account size as originally purchased.
Begin directly from the phase you're resetting.
Example:
If you purchased a $100,000 Two-Step Challenge, passed Phase 1, and then breached Phase 2, your Reset will issue a new $100,000 Phase 2 account. You will not need to complete Phase 1 again.
Which phase will I restart from?
You always restart from the phase where the breach occurred.
For example:
Breach Phase 1 → Restart from Phase 1.
Breach Phase 2 after passing Phase 1 → Restart from Phase 2.
Breach Phase 3 after passing Phases 1 and 2 → Restart from Phase 3.
Breach a Funded Account → Receive a brand-new Funded Account without repeating the evaluation process.
When can I purchase a Reset?
You can purchase a Reset at any time.
This means you don't have to wait until your account is breached. If your account is still active but you're in a significant drawdown and prefer to start that phase over, you can choose to purchase a Reset instead.
If your account has already been breached, you have 14 calendar days from the date of the breach to purchase a Reset.
After the 14-day period expires, the Reset option for that account will no longer be available, and you'll need to purchase a new Challenge if you wish to continue.
Important: Once an account has been breached, the Reset must be purchased within 14 calendar days. After this period, the Reset option permanently expires for that account.
How much does a Reset cost?
The Reset price depends on both:
The Challenge type you originally purchased.
The phase you're resetting.
Prices are calculated as a percentage adjustment of the original Challenge purchase price.

Note: The percentages shown above represent the adjustment applied to the original purchase price of your Challenge when purchasing a Reset.
Why is Phase 1 cheaper?
If you breach before passing any phase, you'll receive a 7% discount compared to purchasing the same Challenge again.
This gives traders a more affordable way to try again.
Why do later phases cost more?
The later you are in your journey, the more valuable your Reset becomes.
Rather than forcing you to restart from the beginning, a Reset preserves the progress you've already earned and allows you to continue directly from the phase where you breached your account.
Can I reset a Funded Account?
Yes.
If you breach your Funded Account, you can purchase a Funded Reset and receive a brand-new Funded Account without having to complete the evaluation process again.
How many Resets can I purchase?
Each phase can only be reset once.
For example, on a Two-Step Challenge you may purchase:
• One Phase 1 Reset.
• One Phase 2 Reset.
• One Funded Reset.
If you breach the same phase again after using its Reset, you'll need to purchase a new Challenge.
Why should I purchase a Reset instead of a new Challenge?
A Reset allows you to continue from the phase where you breached your account instead of starting your evaluation from scratch.
This preserves the progress you've already earned, gets you back to trading faster, and eliminates the need to repeat phases you've already successfully completed.
Can I get a discount on a Reset?
Yes! From time to time, Goat Funded Trader may offer special promotions or discounts on Reset purchases.
