IP, devices and accounts
IP Address and Account Access Policy
To maintain a fair trading environment and protect the integrity of our evaluation and funded programs, Goat Funded Trader actively monitors account access and IP address activity across all stages.
Account Ownership
All trading accounts must be operated exclusively by the account owner.
Sharing account credentials, allowing third parties to access your account, or using any account management or "pass your challenge" services is strictly prohibited and may result in account breaches and permanent restrictions from our services.
Evaluation and Funded Accounts
The geographical region of the IP address used to purchase a challenge, as well as the region used to access and trade a funded account, should remain reasonably consistent over time.
Significant or unexplained discrepancies between purchase location, trading location, or repeated regional IP changes may trigger a review by our Risk Team.
Travel and Change of Location
We understand that traders may travel or temporarily change location.
If you plan to access or trade your account from a different country or region, we strongly recommend informing our support team in advance to avoid unnecessary account reviews or interruptions.
If unusual IP activity is detected, our Risk Team may contact you and request additional verification, including but not limited to:
- Travel tickets or booking confirmations;
- Passport stamps or other travel documentation;
- Video verification or other reasonable proof of location.
Failure to provide sufficient evidence that the account has been operated solely by the account owner may result in account restrictions, account breaches, or permanent suspension from our services.
VPNs, VPS, and Remote Access Tools
From October 6, 2026, the use of any hosting or IP-masking or routing service during trading activity is strictly prohibited on all accounts. This includes VPNs, VPSs, proxies, remote or hosted environments, and any other hosting or routing solution used to access or trade on the trading platform.
If such a service is detected during trading activity, the account is subject to a straight breach, and any payout generated through that trading activity is not eligible for payment.
The only exception is the first login: if you need a VPN to locate or connect to our trading server for the first time, you may use it for that connection only, and it must be disconnected before any trading takes place.
Full details: Can I use a VPN, VPS, proxy, or any other hosting service while trading?
Important Notice
Repeated unexplained IP changes, simultaneous access from multiple locations, shared devices, or any activity suggesting that an account is not being operated independently may lead to a full investigation by our Risk Team.
Any violation of this policy may result in account breaches, payout rejection, suspension of services, or permanent exclusion from Goat Funded Trader.

Can I use a VPN, VPS, proxy, or any other hosting service while trading?
No. Effective October 6, 2026, the use of any type of hosting or IP-masking or routing service during trading activity is strictly prohibited.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- VPNs
- VPSs
- Proxies
- Remote or hosted environments
- Any other hosting or routing solution used to access or trade on the trading platform
If we detect that any such service was used during trading activity, the account will be subject to a straight breach. Any payout generated through trading activity conducted using these services will not be eligible for payment.
Limited exception for first login
We understand that users in certain countries may need to temporarily use a VPN to locate or connect to our trading server for the first time. For example, some users in Pakistan may require a VPN for the server to appear on their trading platform.
In these cases, a VPN may be used only for the initial login and server connection. Once the server has been located and the account accessed, the VPN must be disconnected before any trading activity takes place.
This is the only exception to the policy. If trading activity is detected while connected through a VPN or any other hosting service, the account will still be subject to a straight breach.
Geographical activity and verification
We continuously monitor geographical and access activity across our ecosystem, including the trading platform, the Trader Dashboard, and checkout and purchase activity.
If we identify access patterns, locations, or geographical changes that appear inconsistent or require clarification, we reserve the right to contact you and request additional information or supporting evidence.
You may therefore be asked to clarify your location, travel, or changes in access patterns when necessary, as part of our risk and security verification procedures.

Shared Device Usage
Traders are strictly prohibited from accessing or operating their account on any shared mobile or desktop device. Detection of account activity from a shared device, especially one linked to multiple user accounts will result in immediate disqualification from payout eligibility and may lead to account termination.
The same applies to payout details. A wallet address or payment account that appears on more than one GFT account is treated as a breach at the point of the payout request, with no review. See How payouts work: eligibility, request, processing and arrival

Can I merge accounts?
Merging combines your simulated Funded Accounts into a single account with a larger balance, so you can trade with more capital under one account. Here's everything you need to know about when it's possible.
Which accounts can be merged?
Only simulated Funded Accounts that came from an Evaluation model can be merged.
These can never be merged:
- Evaluation accounts, at any stage.
- Instant Funding accounts of any kind, including Instant GOAT, Instant PRO, Instant HERO, Instant Premium and Instant Standard. An Instant account cannot be merged with another Instant account, and it cannot be merged with an account from any other model.
Conditions for merging
You can merge your eligible Funded Accounts when all of the following are true across every account you want to merge:
- No trades placed - each account must still be at its initial balance. This means the account is either brand new (untraded) or has just been reset following a payout.
- Same account type - all accounts must be the same type.
- Same profit split - all accounts must share the same profit split.
- Same add-ons - all accounts must have the same add-ons, or none of them have any add-ons.
Do the account sizes have to match?
No. Account sizes do not need to be the same. For example, a $5,000 account and a $50,000 account can be merged into a single $55,000 account, as long as all the conditions above are met.
Is there a limit?
The only cap is a combined total of $400,000, our permitted maximum allocation per trader. You can merge as many accounts as you like, as long as their balances add up to no more than that.
How do I request a merge?
If your accounts meet all the conditions above, reach out to our support team and we'll help you complete the merge.
